  • I aim to make the pregnancy care experience more intentional and holistic than the standard medical model of care does. Carrying a baby in womb is one of life’s most sacred times. It is my greatest honor and joy to walk through this season of life with you.

  • Antepartum

    • Free consultations to see if homebirth is the right fit for you and for us to get to know each other better.

    • Comprehensive, relationship-based prenatal visits every 4-6 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2-3 weeks until 36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until the birth.

    • In house lab testing, including genetic testing and carrier screening.

    • Available to clients by phone, text, and e-mail for questions and concerns, including 24/7 for urgent needs.

    • Nutritional counseling, as needed.

    • Referrals for ultrasounds.

    • 36 week home visit to check out your birth space. Helping you visualize the big day and making sure all supplies are present and ready!

      Each prenatal is held in my home clinic - 45-60 min dedicated solely to you and your needs. Your vitals will be taken in addition to fetal heart tones, fundal height, mental wellbeing, answering any questions, enjoying each others company and connecting!

  • Intrapartum

    • Being with you for your birth upon active labor at 37 - 42 weeks with appropriate midwifery skills and tools.

    • Continuous care throughout active labor including vitals on birth giver and fetal heart tones on baby. Monitoring that things are staying healthy and low risk.

    • Attending birth assistant to help with midwife and family needs as the birth nears.

    • Truly, mostly just sitting on hands and watching the magic and power unfold in front of our eyes.

  • Postpartum

    • Midwife presence and surveillance 2-4 hours after birth - when everyone is stable and cozy in bed.

    • Newborn examination checking for reflexes, any abnormalities, listening heart and lung sounds, and counting all 10 fingers and toes.

    • Home visits after the birth of your baby at 24-48 hours, and 2 weeks (more provided as needed). Vitals taken, questions answered, baby weighed and referrals made as needed. CPM scope of care for baby is 24 hours in AL, so any needs beyond that are with other provider of choice.

    • Still available to you by phone for any needs and 24/7 for urgent matters.

    • Back in clinic visit at 6 weeks for the completion of care and goodbyes (always so hard!)
